The design for Southern Cross Healthcare’s national support office, located across two levels in the ANZ Centre, supports the wider healthcare community and accommodates a wide range of requirements and individuals.
The workplace strategy for the fitout involved dedicating an entire floor as a shared space, featuring reception, meeting and training rooms, boardroom and café/kitchen with views of Auckland’s harbour bridge and Westhaven. This shared floor serves as a hub for interaction and collaboration, providing a sense of community amongst Southern Cross’ stakeholders.
On the second floor, dedicated workspaces for Southern Cross’ national support staff foster connectivity and facilitate seamless communication between team members. Previously scattered across multiple floors, consolidating these functions within a single floor was a deliberate decision to connect employees.
