Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei’s workplace, designed by STACK Interiors, has been acknowledged with the Resene Total Colour Commercial Interior Office Colour Maestro Award in the 2023 Resene Total Colour Awards.
The awards celebrate the creative and outstanding use of Resene colours and are open to entries from Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. The awards were announced at the Resene Total Colour Awards event at NZ Fashion Week on Tuesday 29th August in Tāmaki Makaurau. The award was accepted by Jesse James Smith, Senior Designer.
The judges said: “Working with painstakingly selected hues of significance, this office is assertive, determined and purposeful with its perfectly picked palette perfectly. The bold painted ceiling draws eyes upwards to the structural element that wholeheartedly embraces the colour. The daring palette anchors the space, yet is still warmly welcoming, enveloping you in a cocoon of colour.”
This project is finished in a palette of colours from the custom made Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei palette created with Resene.
