Delivering space in a natural New Zealand way

A specialist investment firm that’s proud to be Kiwi, Milford Asset Management’s brand provided the inspiration for their new workplace. A natural palette and unfolding spaces create a workplace that truly reflects who Milford are.

STACK delivered the multifunctional space Milford was craving through the creation of a café / work lounge that caters for dining, coffee-catch-ups and informal meeting and working. The open plan workspace reflects various workstyles: from sit-to-stand desking and stand-up benches to circular meeting booths and semi-private work lounges.

Evoking Milford’s brand image was achieved in multiple ways. The form of the kitchen references a pebble and is wrapped in cedar. Meeting spaces nestle among giant terracotta pillars that make bold use of Milford’s orange brand colour in a naturally warm way. Green Autex wall coverings, oak table tops and orange leather chairs create a natural palette. A window seat in the arrival area invites visitors to enjoy iconic New Zealand views: the Waitemata Harbour and Rangitoto.
