Special’s brief was both specific and inspiring: Emphasising the need to accommodate their expanding team and align with their creative ethos.

Engaged early in the process, STACK undertook a detailed investigation to discover the right premises to support Special's expanding team and creative philosophy. Working hand in hand with Special, our goal was to design a workspace that harmoniously integrates with their values and aspirations.

Through zonal mapping and a focus on employee journeys within the space, we crafted a design concept guided by bold, ambitious, creative, and innovative principles. This resulted in a workspace that seamlessly integrates sculptural forms with a vibrant yet soft color palette, embodying Special’s creative spirit.

During the process, we paid close attention to material and detailing selection, ensuring that every aspect of the workplace reflects Special’s dynamic and ambitious nature. By harmonising the building’s character with our design objectives, we created a workspace that not only celebrates architectural heritage but also enhances operational efficiency and creativity. The end result is an inspiring and functional environment where every element serves a purpose, fostering productivity and creativity for Special’s team.
